Symptoms of a Hard Drive Going Bad...

As you will find out I like to keep my blog pretty simple and easy to understand.  In my last blog I wrote about how important it is to back-up your data.  In this blog I want to describe symptoms of when a hard drive may be going bad.
There are primarily two forms of hard drive failure,  logical and physical.  Logical failures are usually a result of file-system corruption.  This can occur due to a virus, accidental deletion of key files or registry components, and in some cases even electro-static discharge.

Residential Users - Is your data backed up?

In the years that I have been working with computers.  I have ran across many residential users that have had their hard drive crash and then are in a panic because all their data on their computer is possibly gone. ( i.e  pictures, music, etc.).
Residential users need to think about what they would do if their computer crashed.  Would you have a copy of everything that was on your computer because you have a back up solution?  Or would you possibly lose everything?
